Another fantastic weekend was had by all. Starting with the excellent news the Ironman would continue in Tenby for another five years (I can hear half a dozen or so people groan). The weather forecast had been changing regularly in the days up to the event. Come the 7am start the rain was holding off. A misty morning start is not good for photographer. It wasn't until mid morning that the rain and wind appeared, it then seemed to start and stop most of the day. It's not just the competitors who suffer the conditions! One minute I'm trying to keep the cameras lens dry then keeping the glare off while trying to weigh down the tripod. Again I took too many photo's (8,5000+) which adds to the hours of editing.
I again congratulate all the athletes who entered the event whether they finished or had a DNF. Hope the aches, pains and bruises soon disappear so you can start preparing for next years event. I take my hat (orange) off to you all.
