My first game of the new season takes in two of my favorite teams. One local and the other a favorite day trip of mine.

Despite the days weather the rain stayed off until the final stages of the game. This was a result I think no one anticipated. Lee Trundles first game for the county and what a debut he had four goals helped also by Dan Williams who had a well deserved hat trick. First goal came within minutes of the start. County then dominated the first half with a further 4 goals. Ponty obvious had a thorough team talk at half time but their plans must have gone out of the window as County scored again within minutes of the restart. You have to give Ponty credit, their heads didn't drop and they stayed disciplined until the end. I believe only one booking in the whole game.

Unfortunately there are a few photo's not as sharp as they should be. New camera and old lens. Should be okay for the next mens game which happens to be Haverfordwest again.
