The morning rain had disappeared by kick off. I was expecting an attacking game from both teams due to other teams recent results. After a bright start the home side broke the deadlock after 25 min's. Just a few minutes later a golden opportunity for Richie Lewis to make it two, unfortunately he failed to make a clean contact and the ball went wide. Throughout the first half chance after chance were created for County but they failed to take advantage of them.
The second half brought more chances for the home side but to no avail. Bryntirion were still in the game right up until the final whistle. Three points were more important for County rather than the goal tally.
